Religion impacts culture in a variety of ways.A good example of this would be the Muslims faith woman have to literally cover them self's up head to toe because it so called "Pleases the gods".Another good example would be Ramadan where people can not eat until the sun raises or sets so it will effect their "eating pattern" quite a bit.So basically this is their culture.Another example would be Christianity another major religion, most Christan's go to church on Sundays resulting in bringing a diversity of people together.Religion overall just really can change peoples lives and make the see the world in a whole new different type of perspective.
Culture and Religion are two topics a lot of people can relate to and a lot of people can't.There are over 900 million people on this planet that have a religion so as you can see religion impacts many different people from many different walks of life. They are both controversial subjects many people can talk about for hours and hours and then some...

Colonization in Latin America
Anglo America and Latin America are very unique the have a lot of similarities and a lot of differences. The culture in Latin America is very different from the culture of Angelo America such as the food, music, tradition and pretty much the whole atmosphere. But one thing culturally they both have are religion being that most Angelo and Latin Americans are catholic. When Spain colonized in Latin America the government was mainly if not all communist the same goes with England when it colonized in Angelo America. But over time the English colonies became a democracy while the Spanish colonies were still under communist rule.Socially Latin Americans and Angelo Americans are very similar everyone cares and likes to spend time w/ their family, play sports and overall just have fun.But some differences has to be that they live different type of lives mainly because the environment and government and the fact that most of them live in poverty.
So basically as you can tell Latin America and Angelo America are very different and a like I can't name all the similarities and differences because there are to many to even count. Both of the regions have grown tremendous in the past 500+ years and hopefully will continue to grow even more.Culturally, socially, and economically they have also grown a ton so who knows maybe one day we will be even more simular and different.

Opinions and thoughts on the "War on drugs"
Around 6-12 thousand people die each year from the so called "War on drugs".In my mind there is nothing that will stop this so called "war". I mean we gave Mexico over 1.6 billion dollars to help w/ equipment and stratigic support but what has changed over the past 4 years? NOT A SINGLE THING THATS WHAT! We should not give mexico or any other country in Latin America a single cent becaue the U.S is in some "Tough times" right now and the money we give these countrys to fight the "War on drugs" could go to other things such as education, public funding, small private business etc...
